Content

Cru would manage fully Raan’s social media presence - from photography, videography & planning through to SEO optimising, editing & uploading content.

We would work on month in advance on content, and start by creating a content calendar, plotting in suggested posts and key dates / events that’d we’d cover (e.g. Valentine’s Day, National Curry Week, Diwali). Following this, we would organise a ‘content day’ to capture all the raw images and videos needed for the upcoming month’s social posts. We would then edit the posts, ensuring they are SEO optimised and manage the uploading, analysis and community management on the posts.

In addition to key calendar dates, we’ve outlined below key content pillars we would focus on. Please note, this is not an exhaustive list and we would continually analyse what content is performing well to make sure we create content that Raan’s followers are engaging with.

Food & Space

A key content focus for Raan will be showcasing its incredible food and drink menu & space / atmosphere. We’d create a variety of social posts including videos, stop motion videos, grid posts, image carousels & stories that showcase the variety and quality of Raan’s offering.

We’d also research and suggest ideas for trending / viral dishes (e.g. longest Dosa in London), limited-edition specials and seasonal dishes to continuously have new and engaging content on Raan’s social channels.

Content Pillars

People & Partners

Humanised content is always popular on social media, as it has been proven that people are more likely to trust & connect with other people, rather than faceless brands.

So, we’d focus on creating content that demonstrates Raan’s strong commitment to empowering its staff, partners and the charities it supports.

Initial ideas: ‘meet the team’ posts, collaborate posts with Raan’s partners (suppliers, charities etc) telling their story, origin of dishes on the menu (was it a family recipe?), details of the apprenticeship programme.

UGC

User generated content (UGC) is a powerful tool in increasing a restaurant’s credibility as it showcases ‘real life’, authentic experiences.

Over the last several years, we have developed strong relationships with a variety of key influencers - from food and drink, lifestyle and travel to hyper local. We understand the power that influencers can have, and when done correctly, they can make a real impact on your business. We would continually invite in influencers in exchange for a social post, and ask them to collaborate with Raan on content to further increase exposure.
