MONTH 1
Arrange a kick-off meeting to discuss all aspects of the restaurant launch.
Tour the restaurant if possible .
Identify key messages and USPs .
Long lead teaser for monthlies i.e. Olive, Delicious, BBC Good Food’s roundups of the hottest new openings – coverage to run during opening month as not to interfere with exclusives.
Draft bios for Iqbal and executive chef.
Build out 12-month PR and marketing calendar to include all launch activity + post-launch seasonal hooks, big ideas outlined in the proposal, etc.

MONTH 2
Launch Party Planning - Begin planning launch parties, detailing logistics, guest lists, entertainment, menus, invitations, etc.
Local Marketing Plan of Action – start executing key actions and collaborate with third party vendors to confirm partnerships.
Post launch event planning – develop post-launch events calendar, including guest speakers, and entertainment.
Start building out templates in e-newsletter platform and create teaser posts for social media.
Launch promotions and incentives – confirm what we’d like to offer prior to launch.

MONTH 3
Website holding page – Goes live with data capture and social media links.
Exclusives – Pitch and secure exclusive about the launch of Raan and Iqbal’s return to hospitality. Offer an exclusive first look at the restaurant if possible and a tour of the hydroponic farm.
Booking platforms – Finalise booking platform.
Send out launch party invitations 5 weeks prior to the launch party date and manage guest list.

MONTH 4
Press pack preparation – draft comprehensive media kit that includes full press release with key USPs, high-res photos and menus. This will be sent to media on launch day.
Soft launch – if applicable, we will send out a soft launch release highlighting offers and dates to short lead media.
Local listings – we’ll ensure Raan is included in all local area guides and listings.
Media outreach – continue pitching feature angles and interviews for Iqbal, the chef and the restaurant as a concept to keep building anticipation and buzz prior to the official launch.
Finalise outstanding details for the launch party.
Begin sending Coming Soon mailers out to database, encouraging bookings for the soft launch and launch.

MONTH 5
Dummy runs and feedback – conduct dummy runs to test all service aspects. Gather feedback from guests to make necessary improvements.
Launch activities – host 50% off soft launch offer a few days prior to official launch.
Launch party takes place with press, influencers, local stakeholders, friends and family.
Press pack – Distribute to press on launch day.
Media and influencer reviews – invite in key media and influencers to experience Raan.
Website launches.
Hydroponic farm tour – host a press tour of the inner-London hydroponic farm tour with key media to highlight Raan’s eco-friendly practices.
Event listing sites – Establish partnerships with event listing sites for increased visibility and to secure private bookings.
Send out NOW OPEN e-newsletter to database.

ON-GOING
Local business engagement – extend invites to local businesses for drinks receptions or a special offer.
Media pitching – continue to pitch roundup features to press, as well as interviews, recipes, sustainability angles, etc.
We will arrange interviews with the chef and key members of the team.
Awards and partnerships – we will highlight awards to enter and will assist with entering
We will continuously seek relevant third party partnerships.
Schedule meetings with concierge partners.
Continue to execute local marketing plan, social media plans and PR plans .
