We’re a straight-talking comms team who know your industry inside out. We’re what you might call “boutique” — we’re senior and experienced, but we like to keep things small and we love to collaborate.

Cru is a handful of talented people and we’re not planning on changing that, so you’ll always know who you’re dealing with, and we’ll always remember what works for you and what doesn’t.

We’re a food & drink PR agency. We specialise in media relations, local and digital marketing, social media, copywriting and crisis communications solely for hospitality brands. We love this industry – London’s dynamic dining scene is our office as well as our playground and you’ll always find us out and about getting immersed in and inspired by of all that this vibrant city has to offer.

Cru was born in early 2020. Colleen and Emma had worked together for seven years and were airing shared frustrations about the traditional PR agency model over a bottle of wine.

Why are clients sold the dream at pitch stage by CEOs and then passed down to junior and inexperienced members of the team? Why do agencies feel like a revolving door of people? Why do PR agencies feel so out of touch with how modern clients move?

We set out to create a new agency model. One with a smaller team of highly experienced and engaged PR’s that know the industry inside out. One where the founders will always be on the ground and on the pulse. One where the team feels engaged, motivated and supported to deliver for the agency and its clients.

Aside from our core team of five, we work with the best freelancers in the industry, from copywriters through to SEO experts, photographers, web developers and more. Your fee won’t be paying for a swanky office in Mayfair, it’s for our time, expertise and experience.
