Local Marketing
A local marketing plan would ensure we understand all there is to know about the local area.
Our local marketing plan would include looking at local brands, charities, forums, groups and events, to ensure we can fully immerse Raan into the local community.
This is especially important for the community space at Raan.
We would action the local marketing plan, building relationships with the key local players and ensuring they have experienced Raan and everything it has to offer. Word-of-mouth is vital for local community engagement so this would be a key focus for us.
The local marketing plan would involve targeting different demographic groups
We would ensure Raan is targeting all relevant demographic groups at the right times e.g. the East Bangladeshi community, City workers during the week, residents during the weekend, visitors to London, hospitality workers for late nights. We will come up with plans to target each group and run campaigns to entice them into the space.
Examples to include:
City workers during the week - a strong express lunch menu that can be delivered in 45 minutes. This can be promoted via the Raan PA Group, the PA networks, the e-mail newsletter, social media etc.
Weekend visitors - we would suggest a strong Saturday daytime offering - for example a DJ brunch or a day time events calendar in the community space with activities like yoga/soundbaths, wreath making and painting experiences.
To immerse Raan in the East Bangladeshi community, we would engage with groups like the Begali East End Heritage Society and The Bangladeshi Society at the University of East London. Work on a South Asian Heritage Month campaign celebrating people of Bangladeshi origin.
We would target hospitality workers through a partnership with the CODE - running a late night hospitality event at Raan and offering late night discounts on quiet nights of the week e.g. Mondays for CODE members.
