Cooking with Courage
The Cooking with Courage class is an opportunity for the public to learn from and cook alongside the talented women who have undergone their apprenticeships at Raan. It’s a great platform for the women to share their stories and educate participants on how to cook some amazing dishes that represent who they are.
The female-led cooking classes could be a great way to kick off International Women’s Month in March.
Each class can be themed - whether it’s regional cuisines, special occasions or sustainable cooking practices. Participants can sign up for a topic that appeals to them.
A group of women will lead the classes, sharing their personal journey and the skills they’ve acquired whilst working at Raan. They’ll teach the class how to make a few different dishes that are special to them.
After the cooking session, everyone will sit down and enjoy the meal they’ve prepared together.
We recommend inviting food writers and influencers to experience the Cooking with Courage sessions. We could also offer them exclusive access and interviews with the women leading the classes.
Participants will need to purchase tickets to the cooking class in advance, which will be promoted via PR, social media, and marketing.
